Ajax and AS Monaco played out an exciting 2–2 draw in a pre-season friendly, as both clubs continue their preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.

The match, held in Amsterdam, saw the momentum shift back and forth, with both sides taking turns in the lead before settling for a share of the spoils. Midfielder Kenneth Taylor opened the scoring for Ajax in the 29th minute, only for Mika Biereth to hit back for Monaco just five minutes later.

In the second half, Takumi Minamino gave the visitors the advantage with a well-placed finish in the 65th minute, but Bertrand Traoré salvaged the result for Ajax with a late equaliser in the 87th minute.
