The 2025/26 Ukrainian football season officially gets underway today, August 1, as clubs from both the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) and the First League return to action following the summer break.

Two UPL Fixtures Launch New Campaign

The new UPL season begins with two opening-day fixtures. At 14:30 CET, Kolos Kovalivka host Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, while Rukh Lviv take on SK Poltava at 18:00. The rest of the matchday will be played across August 2, 3, and 4.

First League Also Underway

The First League kicks off with three matches on August 1 as well. YUKSA face Podillya and Victoria host Prykarpattia — both at 14:00, while Ahrobiznes play Left Bank at 15:00.
