PSG - Real 4:0

What was billed as a showdown between two of Europe’s elite turned into a one-sided demolition. Paris Saint-Germain dismantled Real Madrid in emphatic fashion, storming to a 4-0 victory to book their place in the FIFA Club World Cup final.

The match was effectively over within the first 25 minutes as Real Madrid imploded under pressure. By the 9th minute, PSG were already 2-0 up thanks to a pair of shocking defensive errors. First, Marco Asensio gifted possession to Ousmane Dembélé, whose cut-back allowed Fabián Ruiz to slot into an empty net. Moments later, Antonio Rüdiger lost the ball near his own box, and Dembélé made no mistake when through one-on-one with Thibaut Courtois.

Real looked shell-shocked, unable to respond to PSG’s relentless pressing and quick transitions. In the 24th minute, the Parisians struck again with a lightning-fast counterattack, clinically finished by Ruiz — his second of the night — who slotted it past Courtois with a first-time effort. Any hope of a comeback was extinguished then and there.

PSG could have added more before half-time but chose control over chaos in the second half, maintaining possession and calmly managing the game. Real Madrid, despite substitutions and brief moments of life, never looked close to mounting a fightback.

The final nail in the coffin came in stoppage time. Substitute Gonçalo Ramos sent the ball in the box and fired home PSG’s fourth, dedicating the goal to the late Diogo Jota, in an emotional moment that capped off a ruthless performance.

4-0 — PSG steamrolled Real Madrid and are now just one win away from lifting the Club World Cup, capping what could become a truly historic season for the Parisian club.
