The singles quarter-finals at Wimbledon 2025 are now officially set

The singles quarter-finals at Wimbledon 2025 are now officially set — and while favourites have fallen left and right, the business end of the tournament is shaping up to be a thriller on both the men’s and women’s sides.

Men’s Singles: Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz on Collision Course Again

Despite a flurry of early exits by top names, the men's draw still boasts plenty of firepower. Much like at Roland-Garros, the stage seems to be set for another Grand Slam battle between the world's top two players — Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

Men’s Quarter-Final Match-Ups:

Jannik Sinner (1) vs Ben Shelton (10)
Flavio Cobolli (22) vs Novak Djokovic (6)
Taylor Fritz (5) vs Karen Khachanov (17)
Cameron Norrie vs Carlos Alcaraz (2)

Novak Djokovic, the seven-time Wimbledon champion, continues his pursuit of an eighth crown and a shot at history. Meanwhile, Ben Shelton will look to produce a career-defining upset against the in-form Sinner. Home hope Cameron Norrie faces a mammoth task in reigning champion Alcaraz, who remains the man to beat on grass.

Women’s Singles: Seeds Crumble as Dark Horses Rise

The women’s draw has been far more brutal to the favourites. Just three of the top 10 seeds have survived, making way for a trio of unseeded players to break into the elite eight. Still, the two headline names — Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek — remain on course for a potentially explosive final.

Women’s Quarter-Final Match-Ups:

Aryna Sabalenka (1) vs Laura Siegemund
Amanda Anisimova (13) vs Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova
Mirra Andreeva (7) vs Belinda Bencic
Iga Swiatek (8) vs Liudmila Samsonova (19)
