Paris Saint-Germain are making a strong case to be considered the best team in the world right now — and the statistics back that up. The French giants have officially become the most prolific side among clubs from Europe’s top five leagues in 2025.

Last night, PSG hit four unanswered goals past Atlético Madrid at the FIFA Club World Cup, taking their total tally since the turn of the year to an astonishing 105 goals. With that, they surpassed Barcelona under Hansi Flick, who have scored 102 goals in the same period.

Both teams have left their nearest rival, Real Madrid, well behind — the Spanish capital club has netted 79 goals so far this year. No side in Europe can currently match PSG or Barça for attacking output. And PSG proved their firepower on the biggest stage just weeks ago, dismantling Inter Milan with a record-breaking 5-0 win in the UEFA Champions League final.
