According to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, several offers had come from European clubs and teams outside the continent

Following Portugal’s dramatic penalty shootout victory over Spain in the UEFA Nations League Final, team captain Cristiano Ronaldo made a firm and direct statement regarding his future — and it left no room for speculation.

“My future? Honestly, nothing is going to change. Will I stay at Al-Nassr? Yes,” said Ronaldo when asked by reporters after the match, shutting down months of swirling rumours about a possible return to Europe or a move elsewhere.

According to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, several offers had come from European clubs and teams outside the continent. However, Ronaldo confirmed he is committed to continuing his journey in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr.

Notably, the 40-year-old superstar also revealed that he will not be participating in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup — a tournament his club is not qualified for. This decision comes as a blow to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who had reportedly hoped that Ronaldo’s presence could boost global interest in the event.
