Milan came from behind to snatch a dramatic 2-1 victory over Genoa

AC Milan came from behind to snatch a dramatic 2-1 victory over Genoa in Matchday 35 of the Serie A, keeping their European ambitions alive in a tense encounter at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The hosts, led by head coach Sérgio Conceição, are still fighting for a place in European competitions and started the second half with renewed urgency. Their efforts paid off when Portuguese forward Vitinha broke the deadlock midway through the second half, sending the home crowd into a frenzy.

But Milan, who have struggled for consistency this season, showed resilience and character. Rafael Leão levelled the score with a moment of brilliance before a cruel own goal from Morten Frendrup turned the tide in favour of the Rossoneri.

With the win, AC Milan remain in 9th place, keeping slim hopes of a late European push alive. Genoa, meanwhile, stay in 13th, still with work to do in the final weeks of the campaign.
