Piastri claimed his third consecutive win of the 2025 Formula 1 season

Oscar Piastri claimed his third consecutive win of the 2025 Formula 1 season, leading a commanding McLaren one-two at the Miami Grand Prix. Teammate Lando Norris crossed the line in second, as the Woking-based team cemented its status as the current powerhouse of the grid.

The decisive moment came early in the race. Both Piastri and Norris executed overtakes on pole-sitter Max Verstappen and never looked back.

George Russell delivered a solid, error-free performance for Mercedes to secure a well-earned podium, taking third ahead of a frustrated Verstappen, who could only manage fourth.

Alex Albon impressed with a stellar P5 finish for Williams, while Ferrari’s race fell apart due to questionable strategy calls. Both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton found themselves out of contention for podium due to a series of team misjudgements.
