Fulham winger has made history in the Premier League

Fulham winger Willian has made history in the Premier League, becoming the most-capped South American player in the competition’s history following his appearance against Aston Villa in Matchday 35.

Despite Fulham falling 0–1 at home, the Brazilian veteran reached a personal milestone as he played his 326th Premier League match, overtaking former Manchester United and Ecuador international Antonio Valencia, who held the previous record with 325 appearances.

Willian, who began his European career at Shakhtar Donetsk before spells at Chelsea and Arsenal, has become a model of longevity and consistency in English football. Even at 35, the former Brazil international remains a key figure for his team.
