Renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has provided fresh insights into the long-speculated move of Carlo Ancelotti to the helm of the Brazil national team.

According to Romano, the legendary Italian coach is expected to officially begin his role with the Seleção in early June, marking a historic shift for both parties. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is reportedly prepared to offer Ancelotti the most lucrative salary package in the history of the national team—underscoring their determination to rebuild after recent disappointments on the global stage.

“Brazil expect Carlo Ancelotti to be ready to start new chapter as head coach at the beginning of June.,” Romano stated. “Timing now depends on Real Madrid exit process.”

The 2024–25 season hasn’t gone as planned for Los Blancos, and Ancelotti's anticipated departure appears increasingly inevitable. Although he still commands respect in the Spanish capital, both sides seem prepared for a parting of ways.

Interestingly, with Ancelotti’s departure looming, Real Madrid have already lined up a familiar face for the summer. Former interim boss Santiago Solari is expected to guide the team during the FIFA Club World Cup this June–July. The Uruguayan coach briefly took over after Julen Lopetegui’s dismissal in 2018, earning a short-lived permanent contract before being replaced after just six months.
