Everton snatch dramatic late win over Nottingham Forest to end winless run
Everton ended their Premier League winless streak in dramatic fashion, grabbing a last-gasp 1–0 victory over Nottingham Forest thanks to a 94th-minute strike from Abdoulaye Doucouré.
In a tense encounter that looked destined for a goalless draw, a critical mistake in midfield by Murillo proved costly for Forest. The Brazilian defender was dispossessed in the dying moments, allowing Everton to launch a swift counter-attack. Dwight McNeil played a perfectly weighted pass to Doucouré, who calmly slotted past the keeper with a first-time finish to seal all three points for the Toffees.
Ukrainian international Vitalii Mykolenko started for Everton and played the full 90 minutes, delivering a composed performance at left-back as Sean Dyche's side battled to an important away win.
