Manchester United captain is APL player of the month

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been named the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month for March, earning the award for the first time since December 2020.

The Portuguese midfielder was directly involved in all four goals scored by United during the month, helping the team go unbeaten through March.

This marks Fernandes’ fifth Player of the Month award, moving him into joint-third place on the all-time list alongside Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie — both Manchester United legends.

Only three players in Premier League history have won more Player of the Month titles: Harry Kane, Sergio Agüero, and Mohamed Salah, each with seven.
