Seven-time world champion claimed his first victory with new team

Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton claimed his first victory with Ferrari, winning the sprint race at the Chinese Grand Prix. Starting from pole position, Hamilton executed a decisive move in the first corner to fend off Max Verstappen of Red Bull and never looked back, showcasing both his exceptional race pace and tire management skills.

This triumph marks a significant turnaround for Hamilton, who struggled in his debut race with Ferrari at the Australian Grand Prix, qualifying eighth and finishing tenth. His performance in Shanghai demonstrated why he remains one of the greatest drivers in Formula 1 history.

Oscar Piastri of McLaren finished second, overtaking Verstappen on lap 15. Meanwhile, championship leader Lando Norris endured a challenging race, complaining about a lack of grip and an inability to push harder. He ultimately finished eighth.
