The Blaugrana are determined to reclaim their place among Europe's elite

Young Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has boldly declared his team as the top contender to lift the Champions League trophy this season. The 17-year-old sensation, who has been a revelation for the Catalan giants, expressed his confidence in a recent interview.

"We are the favorites for the Champions League," said Yamal. "When the group stage ended, I said Liverpool were the favorites because they were at the top of my list. But now that they're out, it's just us left."

The Spanish international also highlighted Barcelona's growth compared to last season, when they were knocked out by PSG. "This Barça is not the same team as last year. Look at who has handed Real Madrid their most painful defeats this season," he added, referencing their impressive performances against their arch-rivals.

Yamal's confidence reflects the renewed belief within the Barcelona camp under manager Hansi Flick. With a mix of experienced stars and emerging talents like Yamal, the Blaugrana are determined to reclaim their place among Europe's elite.
