Rodri, crowned the Best Player in the World for 2024, has taken a significant step toward recovery after a long injury layoff.

The Manchester City midfielder suffered a serious injury during a Premier League clash against Arsenal in late September, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

Or so it seemed.

City has now shared footage of Rodri back on the pitch, training with the ball for the first time since his setback. The Spanish international looked sharp, focused, and eager to return as soon as possible.

The club confirmed that the midfielder is making progress towards full recovery but did not specify a return date. Previously, Rodri himself expressed hopes of being fit in time for the FIFA Club World Cup in June.
