The final score was 2-0, a shocking victory for Como that left the local fans stunned

The 25th round match of Serie A saw Fiorentina, one of the league’s top teams, unexpectedly lose to mid-table side Como.

The home team had a disappointing xG (expected goals) of just 0.25, and frankly, La Viola looked toothless in attack.

Como were the more dangerous side. Midway through the first half, David de Gea saved Fiorentina from going behind, pulling off a brilliant save to deny Diaw's header from close range.

However, just before the break, de Gea was powerless as Diao finished off a quick counterattack from Como, putting the visitors ahead.

In the 66th minute, Nico Paz doubled Como's lead with a shot that deflected off the post and into the net. Moments later, the relentless Diaw almost sealed Fiorentina's fate, but de Gea was there again to make a stunning save, keeping the scoreline respectable.

The final score was 2-0, a shocking victory for Como that left the local fans stunned.
