Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka faces a longer-than-expected recovery from a hamstring injury, dealing a blow to the Gunners' hopes as they push for success in multiple competitions. The 22-year-old, who has been a key player for Mikel Arteta's side, suffered the injury two months ago in a match against Crystal Palace and underwent surgery on December 29.

Initially, it was reported that Saka would return to action by the end of February. However, according to The Sun, the England international is now expected to miss at least six more weeks, with his comeback likely delayed until late March.

This season, Saka has been in stellar form, scoring 9 goals and providing 13 assists in 24 appearances for the North London club. His absence has been keenly felt, as Arsenal continues to compete in the Premier League, Champions League, and domestic cup competitions.

To make matters worse, Arsenal's injury list continues to grow. Alongside Saka, the Gunners are also without Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, and Kai Havertz, leaving Arteta with limited options in attack.
