Newcastle - Fulham 1:2

In the 24th round of the Premier League, Newcastle United welcomed mid-table side Fulham to St. James' Park, with the Magpies looking to maintain their push for a top-4 finish.

The hosts started well, taking the lead in the 37th minute through Jacob Murphy, who fired in from close range. However, in the second half, Fulham exploited gaps in Newcastle's defense, and Raúl Jiménez and Rodrigo Muniz scored to turn the game around, giving the visitors a 2-1 lead.

It was a surprising victory for Fulham, who climbed to 9th place in the standings and are now eyeing a European spot for next season.

Newcastle now shares 41 points with 4th-place Manchester City, though City has a game in hand, making the Magpies' top-4 hopes even more challenging.
