Bournemouth - Liverpool 0:2

In the 24th round of the Premier League, league leaders Liverpool traveled to face Bournemouth, who were coming off a 5-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest. However, the Reds proved to be a much tougher opponent, securing a hard-fought 2-0 victory thanks to a brace from Mohamed Salah.

In the first half, Cody Gakpo won a penalty for Liverpool, and Salah stepped up to convert it with a powerful strike into the corner, leaving Kepa Arrizabalaga with no chance despite guessing the right direction.

Salah then doubled Liverpool’s lead in the second half, scoring his 21st goal of the season in the Premier League with a precise finish into the far top corner. The Egyptian forward continues to be a key figure for the Reds.

Despite the scoreline, Bournemouth put up a strong fight. The post denied them twice, and Alisson Becker made crucial saves to keep Liverpool’s clean sheet intact.
