In a significant move for Nottingham Forest, the club has announced the contract extension of 33-year-old striker Chris Wood. The New Zealand international has signed a new deal that will keep him at the City Ground until the summer of 2027, solidifying his role in the squad as they continue their campaign in the Premier League.

Wood, who joined Nottingham Forest in January 2023 from Newcastle United, has become a key figure in the team’s attacking lineup. Known for his physical presence, aerial ability, and clinical finishing, the experienced forward has been instrumental in helping Forest maintain their top-flight status. His leadership and experience have also been invaluable in a squad that blends youth and seasoned professionals.
