The clash between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League is set to be the headline fixture of the tournament's seventh round. With one team securing a spot in the knockout stages and the other potentially facing a shocking early exit, all eyes will be on Wednesday's blockbuster showdown.

Despite the high stakes, PSG manager Luis Enrique expressed his excitement about facing the reigning English champions and reuniting with a familiar face.

"This will be a special match, not just because of its significance in the tournament. I will meet a friend, Pep Guardiola, with whom I played and who, like me, graduated from the coaching school at Barcelona. We share a very similar footballing philosophy, so it should be a great match," Enrique said.

The Spanish tactician also discussed PSG's approach to the crucial encounter:

"Our goal is to be as effective as possible with the ball. We might have to concede possession at times, and we might play on the counterattack – we’ll see how the game unfolds. Is winning a must? Every player must give 100%, and I approach every day with the same mindset. You can lose games—that's football—but what matters most is staying committed to the cause," the PSG boss emphasized.
