Real Madrid with its president, 77-year-old Florentino Pérez, has officially re-elected him as the president of the football club. This was announced on the official website of "Los Blancos." The re-election occurred unopposed, just like in the previous four elections (in 2009, 2013, 2017, and 2021).

Previously, Pérez led the club from 2000 to 2006, during which time he created the famous "Galácticos" team (which, however, quickly disbanded). During his tenure as the head of the Madrid club, Real Madrid has won:

  • 7 La Liga titles,
  • 3 Copa del Rey trophies,
  • 7 Spanish Super Cups,
  • 7 UEFA Champions League titles,
  • 6 UEFA Super Cups,
  • 2 Intercontinental Cups, and
  • 5 FIFA Club World Cups.
  • There is no doubt that this collection will grow in the next four years, which Pérez is now guaranteed to lead the club under its statutes.
