London Arsenal failed to close the gap on first place in the EPL

London Arsenal failed to close the gap on first place in the EPL, losing two points at home to Aston Villa.

The Gunners have only themselves to blame for this outcome, as by the 55th minute they led by two goals after shots from Martinelli and Havertz, but allowed their opponents to make a comeback.

Thielemans quickly got one back and five minutes later the score was 2-2. Villa had a cross into the penalty area, where Ollie Watkins broke away from the entire Arsenal defence and put the ball into the net.

2:2 - Arsenal are now six points behind Liverpool.
