Real suffered a crushing defeat in the decisive match of the Spanish Super Cup, conceding five goals from Barcelona.

The Madrid club started the match with a beautiful solo goal by Kylian Mbappe in the 5th minute, but could not continue the game in the same spirit. Before the end of the first half, Barça responded with four goals by Yamal, Lewandowski, Rafinha and Balde, plus the Catalans scored again just after the break.

Only at 1:5 did Carlo Ancelotti's team had a chance to save game - Wojciech Szczęsy was sent off after a straight red card, and Rodrigo converted the free kick into a goal. There was more than half an hour left to play, but Barcelona didn't allow their opponents to score any more, bringing the game to the historic victory - 5:2.
