Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe reflected on his team’s performance following their 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, speaking to TNT Sports.

"We had to dig deep. It was a tough win, but a massive one," Howe said. "Isak was in the right place at the right time. That is an art. Another good cross from Jacob Murphy. He will be disappointed with the one he didn't take. He is on a hot streak, long may that continue."

Howe also spoke about his team’s growing confidence. "Our confidence has definitely shifted, it naturally does when you win games. It was something we were building to, the performances were good. We are a very good team with good players. I would like to think that we can keep it going.""

Newcastle’s victory further solidifies their position as serious contenders this season, showcasing the team’s resilience and quality under Howe’s guidance.
