Paulo Fonseca

Paulo Fonseca will receive €1.8 million as compensation for his dismissal as head coach of AC Milan, according to insider Nicolo Schira. The Portuguese manager is already eyeing a future role in the Premier League, a competition he has yet to experience despite past attempts to secure a position there.

Before joining Milan in the summer of 2024, Fonseca had managed AS Roma and Lille. His tenure with the Rossoneri lasted 24 matches, producing a record of 12 wins, 6 draws, and 6 losses. When he left, Milan sat in 8th place in Serie A with 27 points from 17 games.

Fonseca’s successor is fellow Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, who now takes on the challenge of steering Milan back into contention in Serie A and European competitions.
