In a thrilling final held in Las Vegas on the night of December 18, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder to claim the NBA Cup. This showdown between the top teams from the Eastern and Western conferences delivered an exciting battle for basketball fans.

The first half was tightly contested, with neither team able to pull away significantly. The Bucks carried a narrow lead into halftime. However, a decisive 17-2 run by Doc Rivers’ squad late in the third quarter and early in the fourth sealed the victory. The game ended with a final score of 97-81 in favor of Milwaukee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was the standout performer for the Bucks, delivering a remarkable triple-double with 26 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists. His dominance on both ends of the court proved pivotal in securing the win.

This marks the Bucks' first NBA Cup triumph, making them the second-ever winners of this in-season tournament. The inaugural competition during the 2023/24 season was won by the Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA Cup is quickly becoming a prestigious addition to the basketball calendar, and Milwaukee has now etched its name into its history.
