Atletico Madrid hosted Slovan in the sixth round of the Champions League. Despite the fact that the Slovaks have nothing much to aspire to in the current European season, they managed to give the hosts a few unpleasant minutes, when Barseghyan hit the crossbar and Streljec earned a penalty and converted it into goal.

The rest of the time Madrid held the reins of the game in their hands, showing an overwhelming advantage in statistics and scoring through efforts of Alvarez and Griezmann. And had it not been for Slovan keeper Takáč, there could have been more double and hat-tricks for the Madrid side.
