Dusan Vlahovic

Juventus head coach Thiago Motta has confirmed that nine first-team players will miss tomorrow’s Serie A match against Lecce, including star striker Dusan Vlahovic. In response, the manager plans to call up five players from the club’s youth academy to fill the gaps.

Motta listed the absent players during his pre-match press conference: Gleison Bremer, Nico Gonzalez, Arkadiusz Milik, Douglas Luiz, Vasilije Adzic, Juan Cabal, Dusan Vlahovic, Nicolo Savona, and Weston McKennie.

Vlahovic, who has already missed Juventus' last two matches against AC Milan and Aston Villa, remains sidelined with no confirmed timeline for his return. His absence will be a significant blow to the team as they aim to maintain their strong start to the season.

Despite the challenges, Juventus currently sits sixth in the Serie A table and remains the only unbeaten team in the league since the season's kickoff. Their resilience will be tested as they face a determined Lecce side tomorrow.
