Barcelona - Brest

Barcelona picked up a much-needed win after a string of disappointing matches - even more so against a team that has been the surprise of the initial phase of the Champions League.

To start with, Brest made Barça fans a bit nervous, but in the 10th minute it was all over: the visitors' goalkeeper fouled Robert Lewandowski and he calmly converted the penalty, scoring his 100th goal in the Champions League.

Barcelona controlled the ball very calmly, showing better football than their opponents. Brest played selflessly, but did not create any chances at all. After Dani Olmo performed a solo in front of the enemy goal and scored the second of Barca's goals, everything became finally clear.

As a result, Shakhtar's future opponents (the Miners will play Brest in January) were no match for Hansi Flick's team - the Catalans' speed of decision-making and quality of work with the ball was far superior. The result, in the end, was absolutely deserved - 3:0.
