Manchester United has officially unveiled the coaching team that will work under new head coach Rúben Amorim. Unsurprisingly, the Portuguese manager has brought with him the trusted staff he worked with at Sporting CP, ensuring continuity and familiarity in his transition to Old Trafford.

The New Coaching Team

The confirmed appointments are as follows:

Carlos Fernandes – Assistant Head Coach
Jorge Vital – Goalkeeping Coach
Adélio Cândido – First-Team Coach
Emanuel Ferro – First-Team Coach
Paulo Barreira – Fitness Coach

New Era Begins on November 18

The team will officially begin their tenure on Monday, November 18, with Amorim set to take charge on a 2.5-year contract.

Amorim’s move to United has been met with optimism, as the former Sporting CP boss is expected to bring his innovative tactics and emphasis on youth development to Old Trafford. With his long-time collaborators by his side, Amorim aims to instill his philosophy and turn United’s fortunes around in both the Premier League and European competitions.
