Italy’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has spoken about the revitalized atmosphere within the squad ahead of their UEFA Nations League showdown against France.

A Reunited Squad with Renewed Confidence

“We’re enjoying ourselves both on and off the pitch, and that’s a massive advantage,” Donnarumma shared in a pre-match interview. “This is a special group of players who genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Thanks to our coaching staff and manager, we’ve regained our unity and identity. But now comes the hardest part—maintaining this momentum.

“We need to stay on this path, work even harder, and show even greater determination. We can’t wait to step onto the pitch in front of our fans,” added the Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper.

The San Siro Buzz

With tonight’s match set to take place at the iconic San Siro, Donnarumma believes the passionate crowd will create an electric atmosphere.

“San Siro will be extraordinary tonight; the energy will be incredible. The passion we’ll see in the stands is partly because of the connection we’ve rebuilt with our supporters. Our goal is to deliver a fantastic performance—play our style of football and defend resolutely when needed. Most importantly, we aim to entertain our fans.”

The Italy vs. France clash kicks off tonight at 20:45 CET.
