Erik ten Hag has stepped down as Manchester United coach, according to the Red Devils' official website.

Erik ten Hag has left Manchester United, reports the official website of the Red Devils.

The Dutchman was appointed as coach of the Mancunians in April 2022 and led the club to two domestic trophies, winning the League Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.

"We are grateful to Eric for everything he has done during his time with us and we wish him all the best for the future," reads a statement from the MU press service.

We will add that Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of Manchester United as acting head coach while the club searches for a new manager.
