Crystal Palace brought Tottenham down to earth with a home win
Tottenham played away against Crystal Palace in the ninth round of the EPL.
In the 31st minute Mateta scored for the hosts. He received the ball in the penalty area and hit a low shot into the centre of the goal.
Soon van de Ven should have equalised, but hit the left post. And in the added time for the first half, Maddison failed to beat the goalkeeper with a shot next to the left post.
After the break, Crystal Palace scored a second goal, but it was cancelled due to offside by Eze. Tottenham could not get close to the opponent's goal and lost the game - 0:1.
