Luka Modric

Croatia captain Luka Modric shared his thoughts on the 2-1 victory over Scotland in yesterday’s UEFA Nations League match.

UEFA Nations League 2024/2025: Results & Standings

"Scotland proved to be a tough nut to crack, and we struggle to play against them. We started the match well but became sluggish. Fortunately, we equalised quickly. The second half was quite good, but in the last ten minutes, we allowed our opponents to create chances."

"Against Poland, we need to be better, and we will be. We will correct the things we didn't do well tonight. It will definitely be tough. We believe in ourselves, and I hope we will play a good match and that we can repeat our performance from Osijek." (UEFA)
