This is yet another accolade for Palmer

The Premier League has announced Chelsea's 22-year-old attacking midfielder, Cole Palmer, as the Player of the Month for September.

Premier League 2024/2025: Results & Standings

Palmer's outstanding performances last month saw him score five goals in just three matches for Chelsea. Four of those goals came in a remarkable first-half display against Brighton. He also provided one assist during that period, further showcasing his playmaking abilities.

In the race for the Player of the Month award, Palmer outshone several high-profile competitors, including Erling Haaland (Manchester City, 3 goals in 3 matches), Luis Diaz (Liverpool, 4 goals in 4 matches), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa, 4 goals and 1 assist in 3 matches), David Raya (Arsenal, 1 clean sheet and 4 goals conceded in 3 matches), and Gabriel (Arsenal, 2 goals in 3 matches).

This is yet another accolade for Palmer, who was previously voted England’s Player of the Year for 2024 by fans.
