Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has won his dispute with Paris Saint-Germain

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe has won his dispute with Paris Saint-Germain over unpaid wages, according to Le Parisien and L'Équipe.

The footballer was not paid for the last three months of his contract with the Parisians, from April to June, before he joined Real Madrid. The refusal to pay his wages came amid Kylian's scandalous departure - the striker left Paris on a free transfer.

PSG believed that the club had a gentleman's agreement with the France captain that they would not suffer any financial loss if the footballer left on a free transfer, which he eventually did.

In August, Mbappe contacted the legal committee of the French Professional Football League to claim unpaid wages for the aforementioned three-month period. Today, it has been announced that the verdict has been reached - PSG have been ordered to pay their former player €55 million. This payment, which includes unpaid wages and bonuses, has to be paid in the next eight days.
