Lando Norris starts in first place for the second time in his career

Mclaren driver Lando Norris will start from first place in a Formula 1 race for the second time in his career.

In today's qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix, the Englishman managed to get ahead of Max Verstappen from Red Bull. In his last attempt in the third segment, Norris managed to collect a perfect lap, and ended up ahead of the reigning champion by a 0.020 of a second.

“I haven’t had many pole positions in my career - but this one is the best!” said Lando Norris after the end of the race.

Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes will start third, as other pilot of the “silver arrows” George Russell will be fourth, followed by two Ferrari drivers - Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. It is also worth highlighting that the two Alpine drivers made it into the top 10 in qualifying - this happened for the first time this season.
