Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund battled for fourth place of the Bundesliga, which would guarantee participation in the Champions League next season.

It started with Borussia's goal as Sancho put the visitors ahead in the 20th minute. However before the break Leipzig was ahead after goals from Openda and Sesko.

In the second half, Simakan and Baumgartner once again sent the ball into the Borussia goal and got a confident win for Leipzig - 4:1.
