Leclerc's second place allowed Ferrari to make the first double since Bahrain 22

The third race of the 2024 Formula 1 season was won by Ferrari's Carlos Sainz.

Race favorite Max Verstappen retired due to problems with the brakes. Thus, his streak of 9 victories in a row has ended.

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell also did not make it to the finish. The latter retired after a serious accident on the last lap.

Leclerc's second place allowed Ferrari to make the first double for Ferrari since Bahrain 2022. Lando Norris completed the podium.
