Shakhtar defender Dmytro Chygrynskyi shared his expectations ahead of the Ukrainian classico between Dynamo and Donetsk club.

"We understand the importance of this game. We understand one hundred percent that this is one of the key games at this stage. As the season shows, everyone is losing points. The leaders are still unexpected, that is, they are other teams are beside Shakhtar and Dynamo.

Of course, everything can change over the course of the season, but right now this is the key game. We understand that we are playing on a slightly different schedule. This victory, if we achieve it, will play a very important role.

Dynamo is not in the best shape right now, we understand that. But we were in the same situation not so long ago. The situation quickly changed. We must prepare for Dynamo game to show our best perfomance. This is clear.

Besides, it's a derby, it's a "classico". There are no options here. No matter what condition anyone is in, the teams will be one hundred percent ready. Pre-match plans don’t play a big role,” Chygrynskyi said in an interview with Shakhtar’s YouTube channel.

The match of the 13th round between Dynamo - Shakhtar will take place tomorrow, November 3. The start is scheduled for 17.00.
