In the opening match of the 11th round of La Liga Girona hosted Celta. The match ended with a minimal victory for the home team - 1:0.

In this match, Ukrainian Viktor Tsygankov returned after an injury - in the 79th minute, he came on as a substitute for Arno Martinez. Another Ukrainian player of Girona Artem Dovbyk appeared in the team's starting lineup and played for 67 minutes.
