Dnipro-1 head coach Yuriy Maksymov commented on his team's winning game against Dynamo Kyiv:

'I once played for Dynamo, and this is not a foreign team to me and I always wanted to beat it - this was a double motivation for me. I don't want to say that in the second half we played to keep the score, but we played primarily to preserve this result. If they won, they did everything right. We won, and I want to thank all the players for this victory. This is the most important thing for us now'.
