Eguinaldo is at Shakhtar with a five-year contract
18-year-old midfielder Eguinaldo moves to Shakhtar from Vasco da Gama. The agreement between FC Shakhtar and the player lasts until June 30, 2028.
Eguinaldo started playing professionally at Brazilian club Artsul, in 2022 he moved to Vasco da Gama, where he played 29 matches and scored 3 goals for the main team. In the 2023 season, he took part in 11 matches in all tournaments (4 games in the Brazilian Championship, 1 in the Brazilian Cup, 6 in Campeonato Carioca).
He plays for Brazil U20, which he made his debut for on September 10, 2022, in a friendly match against Uzbekistan U19 and has played 3 matches to date. Eguinaldo participated in the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup.
