FIFA Women's World Cup: Colombia beat Germany to top Group H

The match between the national teams of Germany and Colombia ended the second round in Group H at theFIFA Women's World Cup 2023.

The team from South America snatched the victory - 2:1 in stoppage time. Linda Caicedo opened the scoring in the 52nd minute. But the Germans bounced back in the 89th minute, when Alexandra Popp converted a penalty. And yet, in the 7th stoppage minute, Manuela Vanegas brought victory to the Colombians.

They are in the lead in Group H with two victories. The national teams of Germany and Morocco have three points each, the national team of South Korea has two defeats.
