Team Canada in the second round in Group B of the 2023 Women's World Cup beat Ireland - 2:1.

Ireland opened the scoring on the debut of the match after a goal by Katie McCabe. But in the fifth stoppage minute of the first half, Megan Connolly scored an own goal and helped the Canadians bounce back. The decisive goal in the 54th minute was scored by Adriana Leon.

Canada leads Group B with four points. Three - has Australia, one - Nigeria. Ireland suffered two defeats.
