Former Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari spoke to FIFA+ about Cristiano Ronaldo:

- I remember that kid I had in 2003 playing with enormous free will, but who was extremely demanding of himself, and that made him improve every day. I always remember the kid who did not let anything get him down. Somebody who it was a pleasure to be around, because he’s a spectacular person in every sense. On the outside you don’t know what he’s really like. I

think now, at the end of his career, he’s still going to give Portugal a chance in Qatar. I’d like him to finish his career on a high. It was a joy working with him, but in Portugal I also had players like [Luis] Figo, Pauleta, and other fabulous footballers who paved the way for Cristiano at the start of his career, in 2003 and 2004. His development was aided by a group of extremely talented veteran players.
