Following Real Madrid's win against Celtic at the Bernabéu, Carlo Ancelotti has now overseen the most Champions League victories. Nobody has won more games since the current format was introduced in the 1992/93 season than the Real Madrid coach, who was level with Ferguson on 102 victories.

His wins have come with eight teams: Parma (2), Juventus (2), Milan (39), Chelsea (10), PSG (6), Bayern (7), Napoli (5) and Real Madrid (32). On top of that, he is the only coach with four European Cup wins to his name (two with Real Madrid and two with Milan).

His 32 victories in this competition with Real Madrid have established him as the club's third most successful manager in the European Cup. Ancelotti has surpassed Zidane's record (31) and is ahead of Del Bosque (34) and Miguel Muñoz (41).
