Miners conceded an early goal, however managed to make the score 1-1 by the end of first half. Lucas Taylor left Shakhtar with ten men after the break, yet Jovicevic's team still got to score once more thanks to the skills of Mykhaylo Mydruk. But in the end it wasn't enough - Oleksandriya got its second goal with five minutes left on the clock after an accurate strike by Demchenko.
