Shakhtar midfielder Artem Bondarenko answered reporters’ questions ahead of the match against Celtic.

– Tomorrow’s match may become a key one in the fight for advance from the group. What do you expect from the game and what conclusions were made after the previous meet with Celtic?
– We are waiting for very tough game. We studied Celtic and respect the opponents; they are a good team demonstrating intense football and creating many chances. Besides, they can cause a lot more troubles with support of their fans. Although, we are ready for it and we will try to show our play. We came here for result and aim to take another step towards our dream, that is, qualification to the next UCL round.

– The UPL match was postponed to give Shakhtar a better possibility to prepare for the Champions League. How positive influence did it have on the players?
– Now we have a very busy schedule – many trips, many matches. From the player’s point of view, this decision gave me more time for rest, because we spend a lot of time on long and hard trips. I think it will benefit us. We will be fresher and able to demonstrate our football.
